MECHMAN
I'm kinda new at the audio thing I'm 16. How hard is to replace my factory alt. With an aftermarket one? On that vehicle, it is the same as replacing the stock unit. The only other thing you have to do is add a zero gauge positive and ground cable from the alternator to the battery to carry the extra current of the HO alternator. g6ryder
How hard is adding the zero gauge? If I have a dat 2500 at 2 ohms wat will my voltage stay at? Quote www.wooferwarehouse.com
MECHMAN
Adding a zero gauge cable is as simple as making the cable, and running it from the stud on the alternator to your battery cable clamp. I cannot tell you exactly what your voltage will be there are way too many variables to know. With a single XS power D2400 under the hood, I would say that you should definitely stay in the 13 volt range when driving down the road.
