CynicLos
so i was on my way downtown and saw this place that selled alternatos. since i need one, i decided to get some quotes. aigh, lets see... car : 95 Sentra i got a quote for a 170 amp alt for around $600 <== no mods required the other quote was for a 210 alt for around $1,000 <== custom with bracket, and internal regulator. i believe these numbers are at mid-high rpm's. do ya think these quotes are fair, or are they overpricing? Their altys are dam nice, havent seen a single complaint on them. reason they are pricey is because they usually dont do import cars too much . however iraggi can be just as good, for a cheaper dime Edited August 13, 2007 by MegaloManiac

audiofanaticz
LOL wow thats alot.. I went to a audio shop out of town and I got a price quote for a stinger alt for my car. They want $700 for a 200 amp alt and that was as big as it could be made. I told them they where fing nuts, esp since I got either 140 or 150 amp alt stock. For under 500 I can get a EA 300amp w/adjustable voltage regulator. Or I think I was quoted around 450 for a 300amp from iraggi.
