Suggestions for my system! Need Help!

Im looking at a Fi BTL 18 with an Audio Que 2200 Amp. Also im looking at moving the sub back torwards seat or trunk door and adding two Fi Q 10s Powered by an Audio Que 2200. I know in your opinion this might be stupid. (please tell me in a nice way havent fully decided yet) This is hopefully going in the back of a 01 Chevy blazer 4 door Im not even sure it will fit but in my understanding it will... HOPEFULLY at least. ha. Also what i might need as in batteries to each amp? Def. Big 3 and alternator. I know im new to car audio. im just trying to learn I want to by far have the loudest system in my school

Also Fi Qs Dual voice coil? so how would i hook two Qs up to one AQ2200? im pretty sure thats possible?

www.the12volt.com has woofer wiring diagrams you can find out everything about wiring multiple subs to the correct ohm load for your amp... I've never personally used an audioque amp so I'm not quite sure how current hungry they are, also you should be able to run an audioque 2200D off of just an upgraded alt just based off of RMS, talk to Kyle at DC Power and he can give you a quote.

I know im 16 hoping to get a job very soon. but my dad owns his own business so i get all of batteries, alternators, wiring for cheap or wholesale. im getting my license next year but it aint bad to plan ahead. maybe for me a little too ahead. haha. But I heard from alot of people audio que was good for price. i wish i was rich and can afford rockford. but nope. Thank you

first off if your goal is to be the loudest just get the btl or in your case maybe two 18in audioque HDC3s, it should fit just get the truck first and measure the cargo area to be sure, and if not then go smaller. as far as mixing the sub sizes thats a whole different ball game and for these purposes should be left alone. also how many systems have you owned, if this is your first id recommend going smaller and cheaper to start with to make sure you want the bass for more than bragging rights, if not then i would urge you to just go on because this is one big money pit and its money that could be better used else where.

Right now I have had two ten kenwoods, and also in my girls car i installed 2 12s rockford P1s runinng i think 350 rms. which im in it every day. so i know how it feels. But thank you and i think having one 18 BTL will probably blow everyone away. cuz every one has xplods and kenwoods. yea and thats plenty of bass so i could spend it where it helps. Maybe highs/mids. And thanks for answering the question on different sub sizes i knew there was a reason nobody had different sizes. haha.

sounds like you stole my first system lol. and yeah the only reason i know of using multiple subs is that my step dad used them when he did SQL comps he had a 15 and 2 10s he used the 15 for those deep bass notes and the 10s for the higher quicker ones.

Alright man thanks. i know how it feels with mine right now. I want them loud and im going to try to get a BTL 18 with a Audio Que 2200 that sounds good but i wont be getting them until like next year lol

Make sure you keep that mindset, don't just settle for something less because it is cheaper. I see it all the time, a kid wants a nice sub and powerful amp but is too impatient to save the $$ for the proper gear and wiring and ends up with junk.

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns about enclosures or gear.
