bobbythunder
Okay SO... i have a 2000 S-10 single cab. Completely new to all this but i know a little i guess. Im between two different subs. Should i just get 1 Rockford Fosgate, specifically this one http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9104_Rockford+Fosgate+Punch+P3D212.html or should i just go with a set of kickers http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9347_2+Pack+of+Kicker+CVR124+-07CVR124%2C+CVR12+Dual+4+ohm-.html. Really i just want the deepest bass i can get in a single cab. I am going to have a sealed box. Which ever is the best, or if theres a better option just shoot. Open to other subs. Just keep in mind im on a budget. Thanks

Thanks both arent the best... but if you go kicker you could go with two VT instead of the VR they will fit under a seat and are the same sub rms and all just low profile Quote TEAM DC AUDIO Kenwood DDX318 Hifoncs Brutus 1610d 2 DC lvl 3's Kintetik HC1400
bobbythunder
Whats your budget and what do you plan on as far as power( rms ratings)? I think the most i want to pay for a single sub is $200. If there is one thats way better for just a little more i think i could make the stretch if that makes sense. As far as rms im not sure. It doesnt have to be overkill but i would like some punch. A friend of mine has 2 15's and has 750rms. So after listening to that i dont want something thats gonna disappoint. memphisBred
I mean what amp do you plan on running. Might be best to get the amp first then figure out which voice coil configurations to go with for subs? So a budget for an amp would be nice too. memphisBred
Picking the amp first will help you eliminate some choices and maybe find new ones. Quote SMD Super Seller/Buyer Audison----Hertz----Rainbow
Jbabycsx
Tweleves are gonna take a lot of room in a single cab truck. What kind of space do you have to work with? Might want to go with something smaller like 8's.
