VIDEO WILL GET BETTER WHEN PROCESSED let me say at the bottom of the back of my trunk lid part of the OEM rubber seal is gone and also have 3 old hard rubber stoppers so when i hit low notes my trunk doesnt just rattle it Cla-CLUNKs CA-CLUNKS metal slamming metal.....i used this weather stripping that is closed cell so it wont grow mold and it has gotten rid of the clunking entirely now it just flexes a lil bit. it makes it a tight as hell fit, when just laying on top of the latch i can jump on top and sit on the lid and it will still not close. it is slightly louder inside the car. i believe that is not because the foam deadens it but because its such a tight fit it no longer vibrates up or down just flexes which helps Quote I don't fuck around. Skullz Posted October 29, 2010 Report Share Posted October 29, 2010 I used some of the 1/4" stuff on my dash up at the windshield and on the rear deck next to the window to stop them from rattling, there are a lot of uses for it in stopping rattles.
