Autruche Posted October 31, 2010 Report Share Posted October 31, 2010 I know that crossovers work on AC current, and a DMM puts out DC to test resistance, and the DC won't make the crossover turn on, therefore no current goes through it. As far as at the speakers themselves with the bass blockers and whatnot, I have no idea, I would assume they work the same way, and only turn on with AC current. Need Test Tones/Sine Waves? Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
