lower 2010 kia forte koup

i'm looking to lower my 2010 kia forte koup. i've talked to a few people online who have used the eibach pro kit to lower it, but i have read that just using lowering springs is not enough and can accually mess up your suspension. is this true? if so what else would i need to do this properly?

lowering springs are perfectly safe and they dont damage your suspension......as long as you get ACTUAL lowing spring and not just cut your springs or clamp them!

my car has lowering springs on it and you can check out my build log to see some pics im lowered 2 inches all the way around.

coil-overs are of course better and they are adjustable

i would have gotten coil-overs over my springs anyday but on my car the cheapest GOOD set are $1,500!

whats the advantage of coilovers instead of lowering springs?

coilovers are adjustable so you can pretty much lower them or raise them to your preferences. They are also more expensive.

^ all that and also they give better handling, but lowering springs are a nicer ride imo...... coil overs are more for performance and lowering springs are more for looks
