I dont see a stock HDC3 15 doing 3500RMS per coil... thats a load of BS they are rated for 1kw and even doing 2kw to them is pushing it even 3500 per sub is a lot, they are bomb subwoofers but if they were doing 3500 per coil or even 3500 per subwoofer i'd have bought one instead of my PSI hehe.

I have already exceeded that on over 2k per sub, they handle it no problem, over 100+ burps at full tilt, and 3 weeks of music/demoing. Not one problem until I got stupid and said,"oh lets see what they do with more signal?" Pop pop pop, goes a 15.

I'll strap that low in any box, or tuning frequency.

I'm in love with the tpi 440, just gotta set everything accordingly.

You just gotta know your equipment. Be smart with it, and have the reserve for that kinda current draw.

It does depend on your equipment, cuz you aren't gonna strap two kicker amps together that low and them last very long no matter what the setup is.

Edit; Anyway to get back on topic, you will be fine with that setup you are going for and it will do fine tuned at 32 hz and be loud and do hairtricks, just do 16 sq inches of port per cube like aq recommends and they will move ALOT of air. Oh and wall it ftw!!!!

Doing that will make his score better but not pressure harder e i do massive hairtricks. So up to him. I have tried about 15 different port sizes and tunning in my wall for daily setup and 16 sq inches per cube pressured the hardest without a massive drop in the score... Just speaking from experience.

im not so worried about scores lol if i wanted good numbers id do the soundstream xxx system. with the aq's all i want to be very loud, low, an do awesome hair tricks. and thanks for all the input everyone. itll be atleast a month before i start but ill put up a very very detailed build with more pictures then a coloring book hahaha btw how big of enclosures do the 18's like?

If you are wanting loud and low aq is the NOT the sub to go with, DC is a way better choice, like the lvl 4 xls.

i was looking at those but again never herd them so i wasnt sure how they were in terms of low an loud, ill keep that in mind thanks man
