Speaker question

Can someone explain to me what the difference between a 4 way speaker and a 2 way speaker? And a Full range speaker? do they have to do with the frequency range?

it has to do with the drivers in the speakers, a 4 way has 4 diffrent drivers, usually 1 woofer and 3 tweets that do diffrent ranges

where as a 2 way has one woofer and 1 tweet

and thats coxial speakers. where the tweets r ontop of the woofer. i personally think component speaker tweeter sets sound better but thats just my 2 cents

90% of the time they do, it allows you to bring the tweeters up thus raising the sound stage. And most component systems are built of higher quality then coax speakers.
