Component and midbass help ?

Just make sure that you add some hushmat or dynamat or something to the door skin, use the 6.5"in the door and the tweet in the a-pillar. or you build your own component set by choosing the mid and tweet seratly from partsexpress or madisound, and then use almost any crossover you want or ask around on here, someone might have a set of crossovers cheap. unless your gonna run active, then you don't need the crossovers. if you have more questions, PM me I wall be glad to help.

those are pretty sweet ! I have saw a few sets of MB Components on sale lately around my 65 dollar budget, im sure that any set of MB's would prob. be better than Audiobahn huh ? And thanks for the invite to help !

Thanks, i was wondering wat the difference was in comp. and coax ! Feel stupid though ! LOL Those are a little high for my budget though, can you suggest anything cheaper ? And also is everyone basically with the same understanding that the 6.5's will have enough midbass amp'd, even with some of the cheaper models ? I have my subs tuned and boxed where i want them and they are stupid loud, just need to fill in the rest now !

im guessing the answer is a pretty good amount of money. most (about 90%) of your music comes from the front stage and you only want to pay like $70? trust me here, save up a few checks and get the image dynamics. you will enjoy your music a LOT more.

or even these... yeah there pyle, but if tuned properly they could sound real good, unless you wanna save up from two paychecks, then get a nice set of components. Just throwing these out there if your in a rush.

Actually i have set my budget at 65 per paycheck, and each sub and my Powerbass amp where all around 65 or a little less a piece and my box i built for around 50, so about 250 for my whole trunk setup ! Not bad, but yeah i see what your saying, im thinking bout buying the mids and the tweets w/crossovers seperately that way i can spend more on each , I.E., 65 on my mids and 65 on my tweets and xovers, already have 2 channel amp i paid 55 for so. . . . Any suggestions if i buy separate ? What tweets for under 65 and what mids for under 65 ?

I wouldnt recommend buying separate if your doing a passive setup. a passive crossover that isnt made for your set of speakers is like having a sub in a shitty box. if you're going to mix speakers you really should have an active crossover, and that means needing 4 channels.

save up 3 paychecks and get a killer comp set. you will be much happier in the long run. thats my suggestion, take it or leave it.

active is the best way, but to start, pasive is great. you would be happy with the MB Quarts.
