what do you guys think my buddy is about to order some subs but i didnt know what to tell him

so what do you guys think would get louder

2 dc audio level 4 18's

or 4 dc audio level 3 12s

also what would be some good amps to run

2 18's will have more cone area i think. you should look into a sundown 2500. maybe audioque 2200D. rockford 2500bd.

2 12's is closer to 3 10's or 4 8's in cone area, BUT do 2 18's, IT really depends on vehicle if he has the space to give 2 18 what they need. I would say aq amp.

hes gonna be putting it in a 95 tahoe so he should have enough room and thats what i told him to go with
