Make sure to check that, and see if its going into protect.. Emoxihax Posted November 12, 2010 Author Report Share Posted November 12, 2010 now the fi bl, one of the 2 of the voice coils on the sub got loose(the nut that was holding it in got disconnected somehow. so it's kinda just dangling) pretty sure it's just an aesthetic thing though because the dmm shows the coils at 1.6-1.7, that can't be the issue can it? I set the amp w/ dmm on a 45hz -4.6 db test tone. 1000w @ 1 ohm = 31.6 (1000 squared correct?) when my amp was at 45(about 75%). any ideas now?
