Also what do the both do at idle? If the pully and the plug are the same, they should work no problem. The Iraggi is a better alt, just a year older. It puts out a bit more amperage at Idle than the mechman. Neither alt really comes alive until about 3000 RPM though - this is true with most HO alternators. Also what do the both do at idle? i don't think the mechman alt will work. i have the same caprice and doesn't look anything like that. Not sure about the iraggi but looks like it'll bolt up. Plus I think its around 100amp at idle. Maybe a little more.

Thanks for the info man, I would probably go with the Iraggi if I had to decide between the two. The mechman is a great alternator - It really dosn't matter, any of these alts are a steal.
