LOL! not sure if i hit anything important but my car works fine as it is right now so oh well! skittlesRgood Posted November 16, 2010 Report Share Posted November 16, 2010 there wont be any open holes. you can either get lucky enough to find one you can squeeze a wire through or you have to make your own. if you make your own be sure to use a grommet to protect the wire. the metal will wear away at the wire eventually. when you drill the hole, it wont come out exactly where it looks like it will. it always seems higher up on the engine side than i thought it would be. just pick a place with room on all sides. you might be able to use a punch and hammer to make a small dent in the firewall then feel around the other side to see if its in a good place. never tried that though. That is what I did on any import I every worked on. If it is a manual then it is a little more difficult, go to the left of the clutch pedal closer to the fender. And like mentioned above, use a grommet!!! And like mentioned above, use a grommet!!! yeah i actually saw a "hole" where the clutch pedal should be... i might try their, i just saw found a website that i think is going to help me it has pictures and all but like u said its gonna be a snug fit... im probably gonna try that one first then the clutch one cuz i rather not make any holes... its just gonna take a lot of taking apart lol but its gonna be worth it...
