That means you have the amperage from all 4 alts going though one single 0 gauge wire which i don't recommend. Invest in some bigger gauge wire like 4/0 and then sleep better at night. Power will go toward the demand, each alt has power and ground 0 gauge to the rear battery bank, there is no way that the front battery would ever need over 100 amps, so that one 0 is over kill actually. AMI CUSTOMS Posted November 24, 2010 Author Report Share Posted November 24, 2010 That loop of 0 gauge is basically doing nothing but just using that front battery as a "buffer" to filter out AC noise created by the alts, I thought in my mind, that it didn't matter in a vehicle, but I found out that it does, it just helps stabilize voltage so there is no voltage difference in the system, everything now is the same. I am just glad this is all it was and not an issue with the amps.
