I already shake the house but that is getting old and i can't wait to get the car bumping... I am a bit of a noob when it comes to the whole car speakers, i mean in the house i just grab an amp and a few speakers and wire em' all up and i'm bumping.... it's not complex. But in a car i am a bit lost. Basically i was wondering how much a decent new setup would cost to buy. Say two 12's, amp(s), and the building of the box, wiring and so on..... It would be great if someone cold give me a bit of an idea of what im up for so i can put the money aside and start shaking Australia (there really isnt enough bass over here). I am really not sure what an appropriate price range would be... $5000> ?? i really dont know. A rough idea of an average price you would expect to pay for a system would be good.
Sanitarium Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 you're 15. get your head out of the big leagues and worry about more important stuff. $300 for an amp and $250 (us) should be about all you should worry about. get done with school, get a decent paying job, and learn more about car audio before diving righ tin with a $2000 or more system.

Thanks man, I prob won't start straight off with an expensive setup but i was just wondering the price range.... I have had a fair few speakers in my time though and have fixed/re-don my dads car system more than a few times...
