This will be my first blowthrough, so if you have any ideas feel free... I got one of my buddys who is a smaller guy so i may have him do it.. I did 4 12's in my s10 and didn't angle the subs like you did but i will be doing it this time around. what is the height of your box? mine is 13 on the inside so it makes it very hard and im 5'7" and the smallest of my friends i used T-nuts and bolts you will only need to 4 bolts per sub probably I made the mistake of putting all 8 in the back too and when your in a hole thats 13x ~11 its not fun. But the problem with using T-nuts when i did it was i only had the subs on a single baffle and the T-nuts didn't have must to grab onto because of where the mounting holes were. This box will have a doubly baffle were the subs are and i can the make the second baffles sub hole smaller thus giving me more material for the T-nuts to grab into because you could have the issuse that i did and have a T-nut pop out of its hole and then get a free spinning bolt. Now if your port is wide enough to fit a drill and about 14" high on the inside you should be able to use a drill or get a rachet with the phillips bit and just rachet every sub's screws in. I also had to have the box on its side to get each sub in Just an FYI i am getting my back wall welded to the frame of my truck because of how much it moved you might want to look into how your going to brace it. I want to see a build and vids asap man Suburban Coming Soon
mazdaspl Posted November 26, 2010 Author Report Posted November 26, 2010 I have been thinking more on mounting the subs after the box is finished.. I want to know from anyone that has used the items that steve used on his box for the port.. Im thinking of using these to secure the top of the enclosure.. I would use a gasket to seal it... I know i would need alot of them but i think it would be alot easier then trying to get my big ass in there to mount the subs...

mazdaspl Posted November 28, 2010 Author Report Posted November 28, 2010 Well this is the idea i have come up with to be able to mount the subs.. An access panel.. Does anybody think I will have any issues by doing this?
