Hey guys. Don't post much on here, mainly on SSA. Have enjoyed looking around and thought I would post up my build for others see.

I am not finished and still have some tweaking to do so I will update on here as I progress. I hope you like it.

Feel free to post up comments, good and bad are welcome.

This was not meant to be a numbers build. I drive this every day and being musical was a top priority. I can appreciate all the time and effort that it takes to pull off a SPL builds, but that was not MY goal. I wanted a loud ground pounder that would allow me to go to some shows and have fun with it, but still sound damn good on music.

Covered the pods in vinyl. I usually paint, but wanted to try something new. Vinyl is a bitch and this will be my last time messing with it. Paint FTW! LOL

Quick pic of the Clarion. Poor thing is so ugly, but damn it's a great HU for the money.

Didnt have a good way to bolt the pod to the door, so had to improvise. Cut some steel and bolted it to the door with lock nuts.

Sealed it up.

The front pods are bolted directly to the door and vent through the factory speaker opening. I used 6 bolts per side, they aint going no where.

Starting to cut the bracing, yes I am old school and use a jig saw. Maybe one day I will get a router, but I do pretty good with this if i must say so myself.

High speed, coarse blade, and go SLOW = Nice results.

The right corner got scratch up moving it from the porch to the truck and that sucks, but I ain't redoing it.

Might try to use some vinyl repair from the parts store to see if i can make it look a little better.

Anyone got any other ideas.

For some nighttime fun, wired some LED's in the box. My buddy said it looks like a fish tank. I agree. lol

With the inside painted white it changed to glow to a aqua instead of a blue. I like it better. I had some help with the lights and have to give a shout out to my friend Sefugi.

I took some pics of the new 35w 3000k fog lights I put in this week. I have 55w 5000k in high and low beams. Highs and lows both stay on when the highs are on.

They are bright as shit with the four on at the same time.

Also, I put a blue 5mm LED light in each of the 6 overhead air vents. They are on a different switch than the LED's in the box.
