Can Someone Help Me With This T-Line?(A Few Questions)

Im still a beginner in car audio and still learning. im not sure what

guy is doing. Im not saying its bad at all nor im i trying to be mean in any way.

1.) What is this box used for/good for? this.

2.)How come the port gets bigger? In the beginning in goes from 2" to 3" to 4"? Why is that?

The T-line is killer for low power applications with a good deal of output...They sound phenomenal in my opinion because i have a T-line with a single 8 in my 2008 Impala LS with only 125 watts going to it and it gets down and dirty

You can tune a T-line just like any other enclosure but they are hard to play around with in cars because they are pretty large enclosures as compared to a simple ported enclosure

Actually, this is more of a tappered t-line. they are tunable, they are very accurate. and sound louder than they are on a meeter. They can be large yes, depending on the size woofer and the freq, used.

as far as SmokedOut08Impala said, they do get down, howerver they are not dirty, (unless you don't clean your car like him) lol

So how would they work on like a 15" or an 18"? say you have an 18" that is recommended for 6FT^3 ported, and you have the room for a box like that, would that sound better than doing a standard 6FT^3 box, 14sq^2 per FT^3 @ 32Hz?

Barevids box is a screwup.

He is trying to make a tapered tline,but fails.

And a 18 inch sub tuned to 35 hz in a tline would be big.(bigger then a 6cu ft box.)

The port doesn't need to get bigger the farther it goes on, if you start out building a tline i would just do the standard one, lookup the thread foreverbupin made. (under enclosures, it's pinned)

Right ^^^ just do a standard t-line. and a t-line for an 18 would be really big, but if you have the space for it... do it. As far as what would sound better? a t-line is very accurate and therefore I think the t-line would sound better.

just for music, not for movies cause i got 2 8's that im not useing and they like to play low and i wanted to try out a t-line and was wondering how this would sound
