Welding Cable - Is It Worth It?

Before you shout "yes", let me say that I'm not runnign4 18's or anythign like that. It's just a small SQ system.

I found some nice looking 2/0 welding cable online. It is not cheap; $8*0 (The * means nothing... I have to seperate the 8 and 0 or it maeks a face...) for 25 feet. I could use it for big 3, and + and - runs to the back. Is it really worth it, though. $160 just to run 2/0 to my rear batts seems expensive. I am willing to spend that much if you guys think it's worth it.

What I plan to run:

small stuff (HU, Sig. Boosters, EQ, ect.)

2 T1500-1bdCP

1 T400-4

1 T600-4

1 P200-2

Also, this is the cable I am talking about... Does it look any good?

Also, these are the terminals I am looking at. Again, do they look good?

I wouldn't pay extra for welding cable, but it's a good alternative when regular power wire isn't available. But for that price i'm pretty sure you can get a 50ft. spool of some decent power wire in 0ga.

If you are willing to pay the money do it. When you want to upgrade it later you won't have to buy new wire and re route it.

Well, I don't know of any 2/0 "power wire". And this isn't really abotu welding cable, it's about 2/0 awg wire.

If this is going to be an SQ set up, then whats the need for such large wire? 1/0 will be plenty. or even 4 gage. It realy depends on the amperage on the line.

I think I'll do 2/0, because i need 32 feet total, and that's $110 as is... For 70 bucks more, I can run 2/0. And I'll have leftovers! And also, if I upgrade, I'm ready.
