TeamHT Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 any differences are not going to be noticeable. obviously with a square youre looking at more cone area. a square 10" sub will have more cone than a traditional round sub. its been said to also offer a better frequency response, but none of my experiences have come to this conclusion. enclosures should be designed and built to the subs specs within your given space. hit harder? lol, once again. it depends on many factors including proper power application, vehicle, and enclosure. a square sub is not going to require so much more airspace than a traditional round subwoofer of the same diameter, lol. just PM BCPballer64, give him your subwoofer specs, max dimensions and see if a proper enclosure can be built within the space. i dont like the way square subs look in my opinion. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
