Soundstorm, Hifonics?

Idk if anyone already mentioned this, but what do u guys think of Soundstream?

seen youtube vids of it, and the dtr series are beast.

Look at soundstream, they have some older model stuff that can out out decent power for a budget price.

Thanks, i was looking at the DTR1.1700, it falls in my price range, like, 150-250, and it leaves room for upgrading subs. I'm thinking i'll go with that...

i have the brz 2100

and runs like a champ.

i will say they are power hungry, but worth it imo

Are u suggesting hifonics as a brand? or that specific amp... cause that amp is $150 more... a little over my price range.. but it seems like everyones divided between soundstream and hifonics? I'm gonna have to keep reading replies i guess.

Instead of wiring them to 4 ohms, wire down to 1 ohm. An AudioPipe 1500D mono can be had for less then $170 shipped and will do rated power if you have the eleletrical to back it up. But you only need 900 rms, so it shouldn't be a problem.

If you want to spend more for a quality higher end amp, look into the AudioQue 1200D, at 14.4 volts it'd do around 1400 rms and is $249 shipped. Great quality amps for the price!

I have 2 Dvc 4ohm subs, 450RMS each, and i'm gonna wire them to 1ohm

just go with the ap15001d if you're strapped for cash. cheapest option available right now.

I was looking at it, but the nice thing about the soundstream is it leaves a little more room for upgrades, as soon as the checks roll in i'm hoping to pick up some better subs.
