BAGGEDBIRDS.com
Mechman, I have been through the site and saw the 3G ford large case alt. I think that is what came up with the 89 non-supercharged 3.8L. I can tell the reg plug is the same but the top mount is pretty thick. Is it a drop in from from the stock 2G (i think)or is there some brackets that come with it? I have a Delco in there now but its only 160A and doesn't do it very well at idle. I have a rated 2500 watts thanks Quote 1st SMD "System of the Month" Feb. 2007 Zapco Studio 500 (2) Zapco Studio 300X Zapco Studio 204 (2) (2) FI 12ssd's w/ copper coils DLS Iridium Tweeters DLS UR2.5 MidRange FI. MECHMAN
Giving me the year, make, model, and engine of your vehicle would be the best way to get the best alternator for your application. MECHMAN
No problem. We have a badass late model ford hybrid unit that is a direct bolt in, direct plug in. It has excellent cooling, and 100,000 mile durability. 165 amps by 700 rpm, full output by 1800 rpm. It comes standard with our beefy zero gauge terminals, custom solid copper rectifier, and overdrive pulley for $399. These units are pretty much indestructible, and we can add our adjustable voltage boost module for only $50 more. If you have compressors, they will really kick some ass at 15 volts. BAGGEDBIRDS.com
i found the pic on the web site and i see its a 270a unit. i also see that it has the stock looking mounts. cool. i do have another question though. The pic has the rear of the case clocked 180 degrees off of my stock. Are they clocked per application? MECHMAN
Yes. When we sell you an alternator for a 1989 3.8L T-bird, it is set up to fit a 1989 3.8L T-bird. Quote 1-888-MECHMAN www.Mechman.com [email protected]
 546 3k 6
