I know the basics like how to wire an amp subs, speakers etc... But learned a lot in this forums & others. But now its my turn I finally decided to start saving money and buying car audio equipment for my car & about a two weeks ago I finally bought a wiring kit and installed it myself & it actually turned out good Like all car audio fans you always have some equipment laying around so i put in a temporary system for now. Which consists of a set of 4 inch apline speakers in the dash, 5.25 polk audio in the rear deck & a P200-2 RF amp powering two 10inch Audiobahn subs. Thats what I got in my car for now, hopefully by next week things will start changing a little. Temporary System: What I got in mind for my car is. 4inch RF Punch series (front dash) 6x9 RF Punch series (on top of rear deck on their own enclosure) 5.25 or 6.5 RF Comps Punch series front doors (would make holes for speakers in doors) RF P200-2 (already have, but i would use to power comps) (2) P1 8inch RF subs (would place inbetween rear seats) RF P300-2 (for 8 inch subs) If you are thinking why is he putting 6x9's on top of the rear deck instead of 5.25 on the rear deck. Well thats because my trunk is sealed. My gas tank is between my seat & the trunk & theres no way around it so im taking off the 5.25 speakers to let some air flow thru What I want to put in my trunk is undecided. All I know is that i want a 15inch sub thats going to pound hard & hit lows! I'm thinking a 15 inch DC lvl 5, Fi BTL, AQ HDC3 etc. Thats going to be my last purchase so I got plenty of time to think about what i want. So what do you guys think of what i got planned? Good? Bad? They are a little taller than what i wanted but for 20 bucks what else do you want? haha Grills on? Or off?
