About the amp, well it should do the work for now, but i would try to get something like a sundown 1500.1 in the future so you can set the gains nice and clean without any clipping. It benched 1629wrms @ 14.4v... So yes they are monsters but still have good SQ, and at $180 you better believe I would have already bought it.
