Hey guys I have two kicker 15 l7s dual 2ohm subs I was planning on buying a aq2200 for them but I just sold them so my question is will the aq out perform the kicker and what are the pros and cons vs the alum coils and copper in the hdc3

hell ya they will out perform. i have one hdc3 12 and it kicks u in the back of the head. aluminum coil ones will just handle more power than the copper ones. i have a copper hdc3 with the aq1200. and it sounds nice dude

I have a ext cab truck and want to keep the box at the bottom of the rear windows what would be better for air space two 15s? Two 18s?

I have 2 of the HDC3 15's (COPPER!!!) on a AQ3500 and they don't even get warm!!! (And I hammer em hard all the time!) I am VERY impressed with the HDC3's... I own the coppers so I assume the aluminum ones would be even better!!!

15's do well in around 8.5cubes net, so see if you have the space.

I did a box for 2 L7's for a DOA member that does a 48.9 on music and it's tuned for daily, so they can perform in the right enclosure.

AQ or kicker?

AQ 15's do very well in 4.25 if you plan to run a lot of power to them. otherwise up to 5cubes each modest power like 1000-1500 each.

AQ?? I was told 2.5 to 5.5 for the HDC3 15's... I would call and ask Michael at AQ

I'll vouch for mlstrass he has done like 40-50 AQ boxes/designs
