I don't know what my voltage is sitting at or what it drops to yet but I want to get a meter soon. What batteries would work under my hood and in the back? To get the most of your money and performance, try to get a battery that is close to the stock battery/location size. For a trunk battery, as for Kinetik an HC2400 would do great, or as for XS Power prolly a D1200 or larger. There are more brands out there, just two for reference. TeamHT Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Is check out the XS S1200 and if your electrical is wired still using the stock charging system...shouldn't you already have a stock voltage meter in the cluster? From the equipment you're running, I wouldn't run it off of stock electrical, you could be seeing some steep drops. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
