Type RF Posted December 10, 2010 Report Share Posted December 10, 2010 I just finished building this system for a customer of mine so I though I'd post up the few pictures I had time to take during this build. This is a 1971 Hemi Challenger painted plum crazy and I assure you underneath this car is as nice as the outside. This system took me about two weeks to build. Equipment List: Alpine CDA-117 2 Sets of Audison VOCE AV K6 Conponents Rockford Fosgate T6004 Rockford Fosgate T1500BD CP 2 Rockford Fosgate T1 12's Stinger 10 Farad Cap Two bulk packs of Hushmatt This is a 528 Hemi with a few add-ons Hand built instrument cluster for the auto-meter's. This is what the car looked like when it rolled in. Pretty much looks good from any angle Definately needs a new system, there's a mtx 10 under there too. Factory rear speaker location Here's where I started this build. Custom Fiberglass kicks, sorry no time for build pictures on these For the driver's side I used a lokar custom parking brake lever. Hides easily under the dash. Building the New rear speaker location Finished shot of the rear deck, tweeters are hiding behind those mids The grill in the center is a port through from the trunk to get some serious bass in this car Stripped down trunk Working on the sound deading... IT HAS A DOCTORS APPOINTMENT TOMORROW AT 3 :yahoo: NO really man.. absolutely stunning car... he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. I wanted more port too.....but the box was limited to seven inches deep.
