Damn... Theres so many different combinations out there, its not even funny. It all comes down to what HE wants. Loud? Sq? What kind of car, trunk space, so many variables. What about electrical?

???

how much space is he willing to use? is there a sub preference? size preference?

he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:

with 3k you can build something nice.

Really he wants 2 12 or 2 15 space is around 5 cubes though remember thought he need mids and highs and amp for those and subs and amp and a head unit too all for 3k

not hard to do, look at a build log, if he already has electrical that gets rid of a good amount of money he has to spend. There are so many good setups you can have if you already have electrical for 3k, just look at almost any build log...minus like trippi's, and walls aren't cheap unless you use cheap subs and what not..

c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old.

i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer.
