AmplifiedAddiction Posted December 12, 2010 Report Share Posted December 12, 2010 i will be building a box for 4 12's for now i am going to use these woofers http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=290-105 they are super low power and high sensitivity, which serves my purpose for now until i buy a bigger amp to go with 4 better 12's and its kinda an experiment and budget build. question is for the box what should i go with? i am thinking 1.75 ft^3 per sub with something like 16-18 in^2 port area per cube, double baffle, bracing, and a tunable port starting with one at 33 hz.. any suggestions? I wouldn't think you would need too much bracing since i dont see a lot of excursion coming out of them since there's so little power. it would save ya a little money. 2006 Nissan Z Track. Yah it would be overdone for these speakers but i would like to use this box for when i go with better 12 out in the future, so i was gonna build it rdy for some more serious subwoofers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
