ok i have a few options im looking at for a 2 way setup for the front of car both using a 6-1/2 mid and a 2" full range now i was thinking i could eather wise both speakers in parellel with a cap in between the mid and full so the full only gets high frequncy now with both of the speakers being 8 ohms that should give me a 4 ohm load right? but will the cap being that have any effect on the mid?

my other option is to make a 2 way crossover wich i really dont know how to do ik i want the mid from 100hz-1khz and the tweater from 1khz- im not really sure what to have it crossed at the frequency responce for it is 148-20k but my problem with the cross over is both drivers are 8 ohms and i need a 4 ohm load while still having them only seeing frequencys they can handle

I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.

parallel the speakers

use a 19.88 (about 20) microfarad cap IN SERIES with the POSITIVE on the 2" for a 1kHz crossover point (rememeber, the higher the value of the cap, the lower the crossover point)
