I go from 14.4 to 13.3 or 13 flat. I run in Streetspl so ea run is on music. On brups it drops less. Because my brup only last 5-10 sec anyway. I played around with a 2 3k in my car. The amps will do more like 7k. And hes trying to do it off a single 180 amp alt. DodgerCannon Posted December 20, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 20, 2010 It's the biggest I can fit on my car without custom brakets and alternators.... if u have problems ill change it, the car is only a 1.4tdi so adding stupid amounts of alts will lead to no power. What i'm saying is that 180amp alt(asumming it putting out about 90-95 amps at idle)and with 600ah of battery power he could be fine powering 4 saz 1500. I know a car powering 2 SAZ-4500 (straped @ 1 ohm) on 2 2400 with no problem. Team_DC-Derrick Posted December 20, 2010 Report Share Posted December 20, 2010 Im just sayin, i have 572 AH worth of batts in my car, right around the same number the OP has, and I have similar power wise, on paper atleast... and i have a DC 180a alt that does over 200.... i have massive voltage drop... down to the 11s... if you dont care about voltage drop thats fine... but im just trying to tell you since we have similar setups for power/electrical... DodgerCannon Posted December 20, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 20, 2010 As I say if I have voltage problems ill change alternators.... there are cars in the uk using similar power as me with similar supply and they have no problems. For example, the loudest street basser car in the UK is using 16k with 2 210a alts and 9 shuriken bt100 batteries, I've personally sat in the car at full tilt and watch the voltage not drop below 14v!
