It has level inputs, use those. No need for a converter.

Can you explain? I haven't looked at my amp for months and I haven't looked at the car at all yet.

Did a little research and came up with. "Attach" another wire to one set of the speaker wires and then connect it to the high level impute on the amp.

Turns out the amp I have is the Alpine MRP-F300 4 channel - 1 (I got it broken). It's not the perfect combination but it was free.

never heard of this, please elaborate

High level (sometimes called speaker level) inputs are for amplified signals. RCA (low level) inputs are not amplified. The speaker outputs on the back of a radio are amplified so you need either a converter that converts them to a low level signal or inputs on the amplifier that are designed to accept an amplified signal.

Turns out the amp I have is the Alpine MRP-F300 4 channel - 1 (I got it broken). It's not the perfect combination but it was free.

Looks like that one also has the high level inputs, so you are still good to go :)

Looks like that one also has the high level inputs, so you are still good to go :)
