Box for a trunk question..

Alright if I were to put a box in my trunk kinda close to its size but with room to move it around. Would sub back port forward be the best choice or what would you do?

its really preference, but it would work any way you put it. i personally would have the sub and port the same direction, but maybe someone will chime in with some science behind different directions.

really depends on car and what you like.

some people like sub up/back with port shooting through rear deck. others like it port front and sub front sealed.

my current is sub up port back, people do get loud with sub forward port side.

in my car sub back port back is the loudest so I atleast want to leave the sub back im just wondering if the port would matter. I can give better dimensions of a box tomorrow if that would help.

Ive tried sub up port up, sub forward port forward also. This is the first system im doing myself by getting it all and what not so iv only had one box.
