OK guys the other night i was riding with my mom and her 95 tarsus was getting hot to the point where is was overheating, when we got home the resevoir was empty so i filled it up with 50/50 antifreeze and let the car sit. Well the NEXT DAY when she drove to the store and the drug store and back it was doing the same thing.

I am almost certain that there is a leak in either the upper or lower radiator hose, or the hose going from the reservoir to the radiator...

I have seen some videos of them pressurizing the system with a tool that i don't have but can i rent one from auto-zone or pep-boys? Or will they do it for me?

Just need to get my moms car back on the road.

Thanks in advance

yes rent one it will show where its leaks. whether be a hose gasket or the rad its self

Thanks man i know that i need to pressurize it to the pressure specified on the radiator cap, hell for all i know it could be the cap that is causing this to begin with (but i doubt it)

Do i need to do it while the car is hot? or cold?

Is there any coolant on the ground anywhere? You sure it's not a headgasket?

check the oil. see if it looks milky at all. or if there is more oil than normal. that will just rule out headgasket into the oil.

Ok man cool will do...
