dbeez
Lulz in this fucking thread. I play 28hz until 10 Volts ..... That makes me a n00b? Oh I don't use fuses in my personal vehicle as well ... Does that mean I'm a noob? I've strapped my amps @ .5 .. An even at .25 Maybe I should strap at .175? Your point is what. I Shut up Because a keyboard commando says so right.
n8ball2013
When amps have no internal fusing you fuse the wire to not only protect the wire but the amp as well so you were half right. Been doing this for a while and running small fuses wont cause a amp to let the magic smoke out as previously stated. If the guy who said that honestly thinks it will he is very misinformed and needs to do a little more research before giving advice. If I don't know omething I will tell you and do research and find the answer before spreading misinformation. I love it question my credentials. OP do what you want. Ive never said anything about fuses being too small causing the amp to smoke. Im assuming your buddies with the OP based on location as well. probably members of the same club. Tell you what since I'm so misinformed go ahead and prove what I've said wrong. And in return the amp may not handle the .5 and smoke. Rest In Peace mother. dbeez
All I can say is both amps have been ran at .5 before for extended amounts of time no issue and with a single 80amp fuse for a while they will be just fine at 1 ohm strapped since we have already done extended amounts of testing. dbeez
No we ran a single amp off that fusing so 160 on the pair would work and the amp was at .5 and don't give me that rise talk as in a daily application music is dynamic and rise didn't come into play.
