They have 2 spring options but suggest the 6lb spring for self defense/daily carry.... just run light springs and practice with your gun alot so you get used to the low weight. i carry a 2.5lb trigger in my daily carry 1911, which is the same gun i shoot tournaments with. i feel sorry for any 16 guys who think they can get even close to me.
