And will the fiberglass stick to the vinyl? Thanks for the compliment. As for the panel, I did not strip the vinyl off. And the fiberglass will not adhear to the vinyl for long. Initially, it will seem like it will hold, but it will eventually fail. Under the vinyl is plastic, same thing goes for it. So why take the time to strip the vinyl when you will have the same outcome with the plastic? Drill alot of 1/4" holes for the fiberglass and resin to seep into, then do a layer on the backside craeting a snadwich to hold it in place. I also apply a 2 part liquid plastic epoxy made by Evercoat to aid in holding it on securely and to blend into the stock panel.
