I tried using the password that I use on my laptop and it doesn't work :S how do you connect through laptop? Ninjaboy Posted January 2, 2011 Report Share Posted January 2, 2011 (edited) get 1 ethernet cable, plug into laptop and xbox. bridge your wireless and ethernet connections. done 1 more thing, in the xbox, do a manual setting of your IP and type in some IP that no other computer is using, then input ur usual DNS and ur gateway . other settings are automatic.
