    what kind of router do you have? i have never heard of having accounts on a router before.

    get 1 ethernet cable, plug into laptop and xbox. bridge your wireless and ethernet connections. done 1 more thing, in the xbox, do a manual setting of your IP and type in some IP that no other computer is using, then input ur usual DNS and ur gateway . other settings are automatic.

    means your router has a password and i guess you have a wireless thing on ur xbox. i just connect mine through laptop which is easy to setup.
