THEKINGsBACK
does anybody have any ideas on what 18 in subs would work well in say 11 cubes, im looking in to 18s bc im wanting to try and plan something different.. subs will be running off about 3500 watts. looking to go ported around 30-34 hertz Edited December 31, 2010 by THEKINGsBACK Quote he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:
hdorre
Do you want a PAIR of 18s thatll work well in that space off 3500wrms EACH? Ascendant Audio Mayhems would be my first choice. I have a question though- how did you get 11 cubes from the Escape? Did you go over the window line, have a small port, and have the port firing up? Just curious Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread
THEKINGsBACK
yea the box is going to be high.. prob close to about 33 tall sub up port back, yea i wanna do a pair... and wanna keep the rear seat Quote he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. hdorre
yea the box is going to be high.. prob close to about 33 tall sub up port back, yea i wanna do a pair... and wanna keep the rear seat I have a Mazda Tribute and can only fit 7.5 cubes without going over wheel wells and without going over back seats (sub up, port back). Thats why I was wondering Ill probably wind up doing 2 15" Ascendant Audio Havocs. I had a long talk with Nick about them. Anyway..if Its 3500wrms PER sub, id go with Mayhems. If its 3500wrms total, Id go with Fully Loaded Fi BLs Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

thebiggmann12
nightshades would do pretty damn good in that enclosure, it wouldn't be choking them even nearly as much as a pair of btls or mayhem's. bassahaulic
How close to the back hatch will the port be?

I got like 9.5 cubes at the top of my headrests, but I felt kind of 'barricaded' lol If youre already going that high, why don't you just wall the Escape off?
