Big_Mike Posted January 2, 2011 Report Share Posted January 2, 2011 Well I tried making a box and every way the port was about 8-10" short of port area. This is one of the boxes I made.. These are the dimensions. I tried to keep the height and width and depth the same on the outside of the box. This is going to be for a BTL 15 N2 running around 2000-2200wrms daily. Help anyone? Torres Posted January 3, 2011 Report Share Posted January 3, 2011 Well I thought the port area had to be 12"-16" per cube. does not *have* to be. that is a general rule of thumb people go by. some people say it's no good, but imo otherwise you'll see people have boxes with like 5 sq inches of port per foot. so if you know what you're doing, you can go with more or less, otherwise i'd recommend staying within that area. either way you have almost 15 sq inches of port per foot which is fine imo Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you keep that just make sure you round the edges of the port to help get rid of any port noise you might have...
