121ak Posted January 4, 2011 Report Share Posted January 4, 2011 I had the same problem on my Pioneer deck a year or so ago. Once I updated my iPhone I started to get the error message. Restoring the phone works sometimes but it can also be the usb cable I've heard. canderton01 Posted January 4, 2011 Author Report Share Posted January 4, 2011 Well I've come the conclusion that its just my iPhone messing up because my old 30GB video iPod works just fine. At first I thought everything was resolved so I plugged my iPhone back in, and sure enough within a minute or two, I get that damn error message. So I guess now my dilemma is keep the headunit and just use my old iPod, or swap it with another unit that is compatible with my iPhone.
