Ok so I am looking at getting a new truck. I found one that I love and I know the owner personally as he is who sponsors me for ATV racing.

Anyways it is a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 extended cab Z71 4wd with 130k miles, 3in lift, 20" wheels, 38" tires, 3" exhaust, no cats, stage 2 programmer, cold air intake, and a small system along with a CD player. Also has a toolbox. Overall the truck is really nice and clean. As far as I know this truck has never really been in mud, never seen it muddy and this guy keeps it EXTREMELY CLEAN! Anyways I'm seriously looking at it but he never gave me a price and don't want to insult him. I'll try to get some pics soon.

Thanks

Cool. Why don't you look at Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds prices.

It may not be the same other places but for one, KBB prices is way off where I live....and the fact that it has quite a bit done KBB and such doesn't take that into account. For example I had a 1988 Dodge RamCharger, KBB for it was around $750-1000 and I sold it for $1900. KBB and Edmunds just sucks for pricing a truck out in my area, all there is to it.

Agreed. I would look into other listings in your area and see what ballpark range those are going for just so you get an idea.

I want to know how he fit 38's with only a 3 inch lift unless he trimmed the fender. Do you have any pics?

It may be a body lift, instead of suspension. Just by picturing it, i can see it fitting but rubbing on U turns

10k-12k down here, my buddy just bought an 04 with 97 thousand miles, leveling kit and 33" BFG Mud Terrains for 9500 and the guy was a close friend. Prices tend to be higher down here though since everyone drives/needs a truck.

i highly doubt its just a 3 inch lift. i bet its 6 inch with a 3 inch body lift. i have a 98 f150 4x4 offroad. which naturally sits higher than an 03 z71 and ive got a 2 inch suspension and 3 inch body and i BARELY fit 35.5's and i had to cut off my mudflaps lol

i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer.
