some nuts and bolts cost you $20??

anyways, this should be a well known fix. the X clip bends the board and they used cheap ass solder. this combination made micro cracks in the solder. once that happens you really need to remelt the solder. the bolts will stop it from happening again.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

if you guys need help with the red ring i have fixed quite a few i can help or try to NEVER use the towel trick, when doing it after you get to the bare board no heat sinks, you wanna use Thermal material remover to ensure you get all the old paste off don't be alarmed if any gets on the board it won't hurt it after you clean all if off hit it with the Thermal surface purifier and the gpu and cpu should shine like a mirror if it looks purple ish then you may have overheated it, after doing all that if you don't use the old x-clamps (shouldn't anyway) hit the cpu and gpu with dabs of artic silver thermal compound and use the screws and washers that fit the heat sink use 2 to space the gpu and cpu from the heat sinks make sure you spread the thermal paste over the whole cpu and gpu (no mirror shine) and don't glob it on there a little goes a long way after its screwed on go tight with the screws (screw them down till they are snug) then put the front plate back on hook up the xbox and plug fan back in cover the silver heatsink so it doesn't get any of the fans air we wanna heat that one up, after about 12-15 min you should be ready to assemble the xbox back together and gives it time to cool down (note that the whole time you are heating the cpu up it will be red ringing that is fine) after it is all assembled and put back together and let cooled down for about 20 min tops turn it on and Bam! your back in buisiness.

No Gobbledy gook!
