hey guys so i need some help on some sub choices, i know its kind of a waste of thread but im pretty stumped on this one. i recently took out my fi bl 18 from my 2009 silverado 1500 ext cab because it took up most of the room in my back seat and i usually have people in my truck sonea.gif anyway i was looking around and found this:

this guy put 4 8s under his seat, while it looks clean. i still want some impressive bump. ive been looking at 8s and looked at the fi btls but they dont look as promising as there 18s so i also looked at sundown. i guess my question is. what 8s could handle the most power?

i mean if i have to....ill take out my back seat and run two of the new fi btl 18spardon.gif

Your post totally confuses me and here is why:

here you state that you took out the 18 because it took up to much space in your back seat and at the end you say if need be you will take out the whole back seat ???

it does not matter which sub will take more power. You should first figure out how much space you are willing to give up and then what will you be able to put into that space that will be the best for that sub. Just because a sub handles more power does NOT mean it will be louder. Figure out what you want to do first, figure out space then go from there

When your at the top everyone is coming for you, friends, family, haters and even those who don't know you.. my advice.. KILL EM ALL

Ur gonna need some beeffy tens and more power. Check Audioque.com. 4 sdc2.5s on 1 2200d should be louder

Just make sure to wire it to 1/2 ohm and upgrade ur electrical

will do, thanks for the help. ive been about 5 days without bass and its killing me haha, i think im going to go with 4 sundown 8s off of saz 2000, im going to fiber around the base such as the transmisson hump and all that then run mdf for the rest. should get me the most space.

check this dude out hes got the same truck just older. http://www.youtube.com/user/ce474
