anthonyott99 Posted January 13, 2011 Author Report Posted January 13, 2011 Finally got back to sanding the 'glass today and got most of the back done and went for a test fit ! Its a horrible pic but its getting close !!!
anthonyott99 Posted January 13, 2011 Author Report Posted January 13, 2011 more sanding done, this is the final pics for today, filler and sanding tomorrow should have mounted in a day or so ! Then with all i learned with this one, the drivers side should only take a weekend to do and while im doing it will be mocking up my A-pillars !!!
anthonyott99 Posted January 14, 2011 Author Report Posted January 14, 2011 First layer of filler on ! Didnt need much so maybe only do 1 coat, not sure if i am painting of covering so we will see after sanding this coat ! Sorry for bad quality pics !
anthonyott99 Posted January 15, 2011 Author Report Posted January 15, 2011 Sanding has begun !! Another test fit Decide to go with the fleckstone type paint cuz it helps hide little imperfections and matches my interior well. Finally ready to assemble !! Well there it is, i am fairly pleased with it, only problem is actually with the sub and that is that it has a very small lip, maybe a quarter of an inch or even less to mount with so it is very hard to mount with out stripping out of splitting wood !! Next will make mirror image of this one and then start on my a-pillars !!!!!!!
