dereileak Posted January 13, 2011 Report Share Posted January 13, 2011 no if i leave the switch on and plug the ballest in it buzzes and the red wire going to the light u can barly see it light up a purpleish color for about 5 seconds. then nothing. I had one of my ballasts go bad, oil decided to spill all over it and it was loose in this little pocket in the engine, so it ruined some inside component. I got an RMA from them, shipped it and then came my new ballast, works great now!! Lifetime warrenty ftw! try this, switch the ballasts around and see if the problem moves to the other side, if it does its the ballast, if it doesnt its the harness. Also could be the bulb, but its most likely the ballast, relays hardly ever go bad!
