anthonyott99 Posted January 15, 2011 Report Posted January 15, 2011 OK guys, i have a JVC KD-G820 Head Unit that has thre sets of pre-outs, front, rear, and sub. Right now i am only using the sub-out and my other speakers are wired through the factory harness. Here is my question, i am fixing to wire up my front subs today and was wondering if i can hook those up to my front pre-out and still play my tweeters through the regular factory wiring thats hooked to the HU ? Will the hook-ups work at the same time or is it just either wire or rca and not both ?
anthonyott99 Posted January 15, 2011 Author Report Posted January 15, 2011 sorry kinda hard to understand, have my rear subs already wired to my sub-out rca's and want to run the mids and amp for them through my front rca's but can i still run my tweeters that are wired up through the stock speaker location in my HU's wiring harness ? or will one cancel the other out ?

The tweeters are wired through the HU on its internal amp, and will be wiring my amp for my subs im mounting in my doors through the HU's front rca's. In other words i will have speakers hooked to the left and right front in the wiring harness and an amp hooked to the left and right front through the HU's rca's . Hard to say it where it makes sense !
