Restart your PC Laptop in safe mode and run Malwarebytes or try to find it in your registry and remove it. Good Luck. nCOMP1337 Posted January 15, 2011 Report Share Posted January 15, 2011 spybot is free and should be able to get rid of that, malwarebytes cost money or of course "free" download another good program which is free is glary utilities, it does basic routine maintenance on your computer a lot of those things that pop up when your clicking on something, are gotten through hacked BHOs or browser helper objects and toolbars (toolbars in general are really bad, easily hackable, only ones i trust are through firefox add-ons and even then i dont use toolbars) it can also be gotten through various downloading, sometimes people slip it in unknowingly and it infects your computer, or through downloading games, and game portals are normally bad as well, easily hackable also all else fells io have an on-demand scanner i can email which can also help Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Or whatever shady stuff you were doing. i dont use limewire and it came from downloading a free dj program thing off the net my comp wasn't really messed up just some glitches here and there but what causes this to come up? WDC WD3200AAJS-65B4AO "Hard disk failure is imminent. nCOMP1337 Posted January 15, 2011 Report Share Posted January 15, 2011 vista sucks, go windows 7 asap, lol limewire doesnt even exist, unless its illegal because tey got shutdown, but other p2p programs do and they all suck, if you do d/l torrents is the way to go, as long as your not dumb and read comments and use the good sites, lol anyways, will it load to the desktop at all or to safemode, if so try to get a harddrive monitor program,like hdd health, scan your hd with it and it will tell you how many bad sectors etc and give you a % of the health of your hd i dont see why that error would come form a simple freedotcome issue, and i dunno why everyone goes straight to defrag, thats rarely a problem, eve n for slow pcs its not normally the main cause Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I often use a free virus scan from a company called TrendMicro that works great http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ . Otherwise if that doesn't pick it up you can always try SpyBot Search and Destroy which works pretty great to me http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/ . There's programs like Malewarebites, Avast, Superantispyware, Spyware Doctor, Kaspersky, Nod32, etc etc etc I can go on but I mean there's tons of stuff that can help you out.
